Day One: Nairobi – Amboseli
First, a representative from Kenya epic safaris will meet you at your hotel. Secondly, the rep will brief and hand you over to your assigned driver guide, who will facilitate your seven days chyulu hills adventure safari.
You will be driven to Amboseli to arrive in time for lunch. Subsequently, you will embark on an evening game drive. Amboseli is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including the Big Five, various feline species, plains game, and numerous bird species. Dinner and overnight accommodations will be provided at AA Amboseli Lodge.
Day Two: Amboseli
Awaken early to witness the breathtaking sight of Mt. Kilimanjaro, which stands majestically as the backdrop of this remarkable park. Notably, on a clear day, the snow-capped peaks are clearly visible.
Following breakfast, embark on a morning game drive, which offers the chance to observe wildlife as they emerge to hunt or graze in the cooler hours before the sun intensifies.
Amboseli is renowned for having the largest population of elephants. The game drive will also include a stop at the observation point, providing an elevated view of the Amboseli plains.
After returning to the lodge for lunch, enjoy a leisurely afternoon. Later, set out for an evening game drive. Experience stunning wildlife interactions as the African sun sets, creating an ideal backdrop for capturing remarkable photographs and selfies. All meals and overnight accommodations will be at AA Amboseli Lodge.
Day Three: Amboseli – Chyulu Hills
A pre-breakfast game drive will commence at 6:30 A.M., this will allow you to witness the breathtaking African sunrise. Apart from this, the sunrise offers an ideal backdrop for capturing stunning photographs and selfies. Additionally, you will also get the chance to spot any wildlife species you may have eluded you during previous game drives.
Upon returning to the lodge, a full breakfast will be served. After enjoying your meal, depart you will be driven to Chyulu hills to arrive the lodge in time for lunch. Afterwards short drive to the park for a bike ride. You will cycle through rolling hills and grasslands, past plains game like giraffes and oryx and enjoy stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Diner and overnight stay at Hunter’s lodge.
Day Four: Chyulu Hills
Savor your breakfast before embarking on a walking safari at chyulu hills. You will have a full day to explore into the one of the longest caves in the world – leviathan. These caves, relatively rare worldwide, were formed when Molten lava, of specific type and viscosity flowed down a slope of a specific angle. The surface layer cooled and solidified, but the lower part, still molten, continued to flow on down.
At this point, somewhere up the hillside a collapse of the surface crust occurred through which air enters, and so a tube evacuated itself just below the surface. Spent the day down in the caves looking at some of the fascinating formations found therein -link holes, lava ropes, stalagmites and stalactites, benches and of course the secondary, water formed features. Return to Hunter’s lodge in the afternoon for rest, dinner and overnight.
Day Five: Chyulu Hills – Tsavo West
After breakfast depart and hit the road; you will be transported to Tsavo West, reaching in ample time for lunch. After checking in, take advantage of the afternoon by utilizing the amenities or simply unwinding prior to your evening safari.

Tsavo West, often referred to as the “Land of Lava, Man-Eaters & Springs. Mzima Springs; a verdant wetland, acts as a vital water source, releasing 450 million liters of fresh water daily.
Strolling along the banks of Mzima Springs allows you to admire schools of hippos relaxing nearby. The submerged observation chamber gives visitors the chance to observe aquatic life. The game drive includes a visit to the Shetani Lava Flow and the Five Sisters Hills. Dinner and overnight stay at Red Elephant Lodge.
Day Six: Tsavo West – Tsavo East
Enjoy breakfast at leisure and then depart for Tsavo East National Park, arriving in time for lunch. Together, Tsavo West and Tsavo East form the largest parks in Kenya. Embark on the evening game.
Explore the Galana River and the Rhino Sanctuary established to safeguard rhinos from poaching. The elephants of Tsavo are distinguished by their unique brick-red hue, a result of the dust they enjoy rolling in and bathing. Tsavo East boasts a rich variety of wildlife, including the iconic ‘Big Five’; lions, black rhinos, cape buffalos, elephants and leopards. Diner and overnight stay at the Ndololo Camp.
Day Seven: Tsavo East – Nairobi
Following your breakfast, you will embark on your journey back to Nairobi. Also, lunch will be provided along the way. Finally, your guide will drop you off at the airport in the afternoon; where your chyulu hills adventure safari ends.

Chyulu Hills National Park, located in southeastern Kenya between Tsavo and Amboseli, offers a dramatic volcanic landscape of green, rolling hills, ancient lava flows, and cloud forests, known for its unique ecosystem and views of Mt. Kilimanjaro. It’s a less-visited park famous for the world’s longest lava tube (Leviathan Cave), hiking, horseback riding, birdwatching and game viewing (elephants, leopards, buffalo). Managed by Kenya Wildlife Service, it’s culturally significant to the Masai and a vital water catchment area for the Tsavo ecosystem.
